The most important underlying factor in this focus is the approach of Root Cause Analysis for IT Professionals. We believe there are at least two generations of IT Professionals that were never exposed to any kind of Root Cause Analysis.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is our bread and butter and we are very good at it. Today we have very specific RCA approaches for Incident Management, Problem Management, Project Management, Risk and general investigation and solution finding skills for IT support teams. With this in mind, we normally start the mastery of these RCA skills with a combination of short 4-hour modules. All our IT RCA skills come with appropriate certifications earned from the Institute for Professional Problem Solvers (IPPS).
